Denise and her son Anthony went with us to Busch Gardens for Hallowscream.  It was fun, but it was not the ideal trip.  Jay was (I thought) recovered from the flu.  However he was not, and Kalena came down with it halfway through our trip.  They both threw up on the trip.  It was pitiful...  But I got a few good pics (very few) from the trip.

Ok, so Jay was following Beth and Anthony, and they just took off over this rope bridge... Jay was not so sure about this bridge.  He finally got across it, but it was step by step!  I should have know then that he'd be too scared to go through the haunted houses with us!  LOL!

The only point of showing Jay and Beth from behind, is to show off Bethie's braids! LOL! Can you tell she wasn't starting to feel well?I think my pics are much better than what the schools can do!   

 Happy Birthday Beth!  My baby is 10 now!  Now ALL my children are in double digits!  We celebrated by having some friends over, swimming, roasting hot dogs over the fire pit, and yummy cupcakes!

It really is hard to have a birthday party in the middle of the summer!  But three of her friends came!  Ashton, Sierra, and Haley! Jay has already lost over 5 pounds since he's been here!  It's actually quite cute because when they are home and I'm at work they fend for themselves, food wise.  So yesterday when I got home from work, they had actually written a grocery list!  I bought them every single thing that was on that list!  They did a great job!  There weren't even any cookies OR ice cream on the list!  It was mostly healthy stuff... mostly!  They found some recipes for cookies and smoothies and are going to actually make them! That is Beth's friend Ashton behind Mimi! 

It is just so beautiful out at mom and dad's!  they only live on an acre but the way it's situated it looks like so much more!  That little red barnin the upper left corner is their chicken coop that dad built with moms help!  Those hens had better start laying soon or it's gonna be chicken and dumplings! Isn't that a great fire pit?!  They came up with some creative ways to roast those dogs!  this other pic is Haley and Sierra roasting their dogs with their Dad's help!

Ok, we did have a cake on her actual bday, but for parties we keep it simple!  The funny thing is that a gentle breeze picked up and we were only able to get one candle lit!  They were white cupcakes, with chocolate cake in the middle of each cupcake!  So moist and yummy!

Not exactly the lion and the lamb, but can you believe that all the cats and the dog are buddies? Relaxin in the hammock!  So fun to see them try to get out!

He really did try to change into one... didn't work... he even tried howling... I know this is a wierd one, but thought it looked cool....

We were ready for Lockness monster!  Can you see the glow!  it was pretty warm, but it actually got better as the day went on! Bethie may not fit in the tree next year!  Jay had so much fun here on his first trip!  Now be kind!  These pics are not up to my regular standard of quality.  They were taken with my cell phone!
